Both of the "hooded does" were calm and allowed orphan kids to nurse during "hooding" and were uncooperative and hostile toward orphan until "hooding". While they still sniffed the kids, they couldn't seem to get beyond being slightly confused without the use of their sight. Both does were kept hooded for three days and then were allowed full use of sight; both adoptions were completed without incident following the full use of all senses by does.
