Before there was Eggsfile, in 1995, Dale, Lynne and Jared Smith bought an old, overgrown, unkept hillside pasture. In the summer of 1996 construction was begun on a new home and barn that we designed to serve as our family homeplace and future farm. Sometime during 1997, we purchased our first two goats to help keep the fenceline clean. Since those early days, we've changed from "yard-goats" to Registered Boers, added THREE Great Pyrenees dogs and begun a serious attempt to raise healthy and high quality Boer Goats. We recently acquired a fine healthy herd buck whose daddy was none other than "Eggsfile". Beginning with kids born March 1, 2004 and after, any goats coming from our farm will be grandsons or granddauaghters of Eggsfile. Watch for offerings shortly thereafter.
